Brenntag New Zealand Ltd continues to grow and has some exciting news involving new team members and a new address.
In early May 2020, Brenntag New Zealand welcomed Melanie Salberg as General Manager. Melanie has a passion for food and nutrition, studied Food Science and has many years of experience in Food, Pharma and Personal Care industries – the perfect trifecta.
Agriculture and food manufacturing are a cornerstone in the New Zealand economy, and Melanie enjoys strong relationships with key players within this market. Complementing our existing Food team, we have recently appointed two new Account Managers and a Product Manager.
We have moved!
In July we moved to our new premises in Ellerslie. Our new bright and spacious office also includes our state of the art Food Application & Development Centre.
Our Brenntag Food & Nutrition team continues to work with our customers to find the right ingredient combinations, interactions and processing conditions to have ingredients perform to their fullest.

Brenntag is committed to sustainability. Our new office is now running on 100% renewable energy, thanks to meridian energy which generates power through wind, water and sun. We also practice a comprehensive recycling initiative.
EcoVadis tests and rates the performance of companies in the areas of environmental protection, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. In 2020, Brenntag achieved a rating score of over 70 points for the first time, making it one of the top one percent of all companies rated by EcoVadis in its industry sector.
