Amazon Australia Gears Up For Prime Day

Amazon Australia Gears Up For Prime Day

AUSTRALIA | Amazon Australia has announced plans to onboard 850 seasonal workers across its fulfilment centres and logistics sites, ahead of Prime Day this July.

The seasonal positions will see new team members help pick, pack and ship orders for customers around the country, keeping deliveries moving during the sales season, including the annual Prime member-exclusive sale event.

“During Prime Day, our sites are buzzing with excitement. We provide all training on-site, so no experience is required, and over the years we’ve welcomed many people who have never set foot in a warehouse before," said Theophilou, Senior HR Manager, Amazon Australia.

"All we’re looking for is enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved. For many, what has started as a seasonal role has become the beginning of a long-term career at Amazon.”

Arno Lenior, APAC Director of Prime, Amazon Australia, said that at a time when Australians are looking to make every dollar count, Amazon delivers more value than ever.
