Expansion Of Sustainability Projects

PulPac, a pioneer in fibre moulding, has joined a non-profit consulting group to expand its industry and customer network and sustainability projects.

Two Sides, the consulting group in question, is a global initiative that promotes unique, sustainable, and attractive attributes of print, paper and paper packaging.

The partnership represents a collaboration of two companies with similar values regarding forestry, pulp and paper manufacturing, inks, pre-press, envelopes, printing and postal operators.

Sara Fransson, PulPac's marketing developer, stressed the importance of making strategic business deals that will provide excellent industry knowledge and help the company keep up with changing customer demands.

This deal will enable PulPac customers to get the best services and solutions. It will harness Two Sides industry expertise in tracking myths and facts about forestry and deforestation, the recyclability of paper and fibres, and the circular economy of paper production.

Both companies intend to learn from each other in the field of fibre packaging and will share knowledge and resources within the network. They hope to influence other companies within the packaging field to offer truly sustainable solutions.

In the past, PulPac has made significant strides towards remaining at the forefront of sustainability within the Dry Moulded Fibre value chain.

Replacing single-use plastics with Dry Moulded Fibre products has become of significant interest to many companies within the packaging industry due to the significant consumer demand for more environmentally friendly alternatives.

PulPac has valued collaboration and communication within sustainable packaging, a value that Two Sides shares. This partnership will aim to drive a more circular economy with less greenwashing.

Two Sides' partnership director, Ian Bates, was pleased to welcome PulPac as a partner. Bates expressed that working alongside innovators in the moulded fibre industry will help Two Sides communicate the sustainable story of fibre-based packaging.
