Bloom Fresh Hires New CMO

Bloom Fresh has hired a new chief marketing officer (CMO) to remain at the forefront of the fruit breeding industry.

This strategic move highlights Bloom Fresh's commitment to innovation and value creation in the global table grape and cherry markets.

The new CMO, Fiachra Moloney, brings a wealth of experience in brand building and value creation, having significantly contributed to renowned brands such as Gilette, Dove, and Pringles.

"We are delighted to welcome Fiachra to the Bloom Fresh team as our Chief Marketing Officer," said Josep Estiarte, Bloom Fresh's CEO.

"His extensive experience and proven track record in brand management and market development make him the ideal leader to drive our marketing efforts and deliver value across the supply chain."

Most notably, Moloney played a crucial role in transitioning Unilever's tea business in the UK & Ireland to private equity as part of the CVC Capital Partners acquisition. His record of creating value for consumers, retailers, and growers aligns with Bloom Fresh's mission to be the global leader in fruit innovation.

"Bloom Fresh's commitment to bringing innovation and value to the global produce markets aligns perfectly with my passion for building brands that positively impact the world. I am excited to be part of a team transforming the industry," said Moloney.

In this role, Moloney will focus on enhancing consumer engagement, strengthening relationships with retailers and growers, and supporting Bloom Fresh's natural breeding innovation programs.

These initiatives will revolutionise the category and bring unprecedented value to all stakeholders. This appointment marks a significant milestone for Bloom Fresh as the company innovates and redefines the fruit-breeding industry's landscape.

With over 45 years of experience, Bloom Fresh uses natural breeding techniques to develop new table grape, raisin, and cherry variants for customers worldwide.
