Coca Cola Europacific recognised in sustainabilty leadership

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) has once again been recognised for its leadership in sustainability by the global environmental non-profit CDP. For the eighth consecutive year, CCEP has earned a place on the CDP's prestigious 'A' List. This recognition is based on CCEP's proactive efforts in tackling climate change and enhancing water security.

CCEP is among the select few companies awarded an 'A' score for transparency on climate change. Additionally, the company achieved an 'A-' score for its action on water security. These scores highlight CCEP's consistent progress against its sustainability action plan, 'This is Forward'.

Furthermore, CCEP has set ambitious targets to reach net zero emissions by 2040. This commitment has been recently endorsed by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The company's dedication to sustainability is evident in its participation in the CDP's global environmental disclosure system.

With over 24,000 companies disclosing via CDP, CCEP's commitment to transparency is commendable. Joe Franses, VP of Sustainability at CCEP, expressed pride in receiving external recognition for the company's sustainability efforts. He emphasised the importance of transparency and disclosure in CCEP's approach to sustainability.
Sherry Madera, CEO of CDP, congratulated all the companies on CDP's A-List, recognising their commitment to a net-zero, nature-positive future. She emphasised the significance of high-quality, complete data in guiding companies towards their environmental goals.
