Immersion Tour with Plant and Food Research

Ahead of the HortNZ AGM on Wednesday 21 September, Plant and Food Research (PFR), Rangahou Ahumāra Kai, is offering growers the opportunity to walk through a tech stack approach to horticulture production.

PFR plant breeders will guide growers through technologies and pathways used to breed new cultivars. PRF will then step into production and how best to achieve high quality cultivars and productivity in a changing environment.

Finally, PFR will tie in production to the final product, demonstrating the link between breeding and the consumer experience.

Bus transport to Motueka will be provided, with stops at the Young Grower of the Year competition and HortNZ AGM at the end of the tour.
