Fieldays x JAC

A HANDSHAKE, A PIE, AND A SIGNED PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN FIELDAYS AND THE ‘JAC OF ALL TRADES’

A handshake and a pie sealed a new deal between Fieldays and JAC.

Coming on board as a major sponsor of the Southern Hemisphere’s largest agricultural event, the relationship has marked an exciting milestone as JAC has introduced its top-of-the-line T9 4WD double cab ute to the market, joining its fleet of 100 percent EV and Cummins Diesel Trucks.

“We are really excited to have JAC onboard and help them showcase a ute that has been built with truck DNA to the New Zealand market at Fieldays,” said Richard Lindroos, CEO of New Zealand National Fieldays Society.

The alignment with Fieldays underscored JAC’s ambition to establish itself as a key player in the ute sector, showcasing JAC as the ultimate “JAC of all trades” – a ute ready to tackle the challenges Kiwi drivers demand on and off-farm or at the work site.

“Being a brand that’s new to New Zealand, we’re stoked to be getting behind Kiwis and supporting the team at Fieldays and Mystery Creek Events Centre,” said JAC NZ General Manager Andrew Craw.

“Before launching the T9 here, we’ve been putting it through its paces both on and off NZ roads. It’s been tested for Kiwis by Kiwis; built with truck DNA, it’s a proven workhorse. It's also officially NZ's safest ute with its 5-star ANCAP score.”

The showstopper is a dedicated spot to keep your pie warm or your drinks cool until the tasks are done.

“We reckon this will be a hit with the hardworking farmers and tradies who know the value of a good smoko break”, added Lindroos.

To celebrate this partnership, every Friday throughout May, JAC and Fieldays will park in locations around the Waikato to showcase the JAC T9.

"We're looking forward to kicking off Pie Day Friday; the pies are on us, and we've also got some Fieldays tickets to give away too," said Craw.

Fieldays is also supported using JAC’s 100 percent EV Light-Duty Truck. The EV Truck will allow Fieldays and Mystery Creek Events Centre to continue reducing carbon emissions with zero tailpipe emissions and lower operational running costs.

Along with its range of trucks, the new JAC T9 utes will be on display at Fieldays this June.
