The country’s largest vertically integrated grower marketer, the New Zealand Avocado Collective (NZAC), is excited to announce it’s launch. The collective brings together three of New Zealand’s biggest avocado growers, located in the far north of New Zealand, one of the most pristine and remote growing environments on the planet.
The NZAC was born out of a desire to streamline the efficiencies with which we grow and market New Zealand avocados. Drawing on complementary strengths, Valic NZ’s strong export relationships, and Southern Paprika Ltd’s solid New Zealand market relationships.
NZAC is collectively growing on a magnificent 1000 ha of land, using high level orchard infrastructure, leading orchard management practices and techniques, and decades of experience growing the highest quality avocados.
The New Zealand Avocado Collective have created multiple business efficiencies by working together and can promise to deliver local and international markets avocados from tree to table that are:
- From orchards which are 100% grower owned and operated
- Of the highest quality & consistency
- Sustainably & ethically grown – a key focus across all areas of the business
The NZAC is the brainchild of Jarrod Redwood, the collective’s fun-loving avopreneur/ General Manager. Jarrod’s been part of the avocado industry for the better part of 15 years.
