Celebrating Loyalty

Graham Anderson - Long Service Awards

Coca Cola EuroPacific Partners (CCEP) recently hosted its Long Service Awards in celebration of the loyalty of employees who have worked for the business from 5 to 40+ years. This year’s event celebrated over 200 people with more than 3,000 years of collective service.

At Shed 10 in the Viaduct, Auckland, where the event took place last month, employees were treated to a night of music, food and dancing, and even a guest appearance from Ru Paul’s Drag Race Down Under winner Kita Mean, to celebrate one of the many recognition programmes that CCEP upholds.

Tony Watson - Long Service Awards

Outstanding winners on the night included Graham Anderson who joined the business in 1975 as a technician (having previously worked as an electrician). Anderson has since worked in many areas of the New Zealand business including Equipment Services, Supply and Operations Planning, Sales (being the first Key Account Manager in NZ), and has currently landed in Procurement, all from initially applying for a role a friend mentioned. An incredible milestone of 45 years with the business.

South Island Delivery Manager, Tony Watson, was one of the people celebrated with an incredible 40 years of service. What’s kept him with the business all these years? In his words, the training and development opportunities, being part of the work the business does to help the community, and the people he works with, comparing his friendships to family.

These stories reflect the culture CCEP prides itself on by being a great place to work where individuals can grow and be happy.
