Following the recent success of launching Australia’s first non-alcoholic cocktail bar and physical bottle shop in Melbourne, the Brunswick Aces team are today launching their range of premium non-alcoholic products in New Zealand, to meet the growing demand for adult sober drink options.
The launch coincides with new findings recently released by NZ Alcohol Beverages Council (NZABC), which revealed ongoing declining alcohol consumption in New Zealand. Data released by the New Zealand Government reveals the same, with alcohol available for consumption at 8.719 litres of alcohol available per head of population in December 2020 compared to 8.752 litres in December 2019.
To ensure Kiwis have the right tools to continue on the path of moderation, the Brunswick Aces team, creators of Australia’s first non-alcoholic gin replacement, are launching their popular range of zero percent premium botanical sapiirs nationwide. The range includes Spades and Hearts blends, each with its own unique flavour profile. The team individually distills each botanical using steam distillation in purpose-built stills, allowing the best flavours and aromas to be extracted, before blending them all together to create each sapiir.

After opening Australia’s first non-alcoholic cocktail bar, Brunswick Aces Bar, and first physical bottle shop in Melbourne on 1 May, the team is planning on bringing these offerings to New Zealand before the end of the year, with a pop-up bar planned in Auckland for later in the year.
